The "Flamenco" has a center support made up of twin chunky 3 1/4" x 6" x 1 1/2" thick softwood blocks sandwiching a huge (7" long x 4" wide x 1 1/2" thick) softwood diamond and 3 1/2" columns. The many knots keep toy parts in place and available for exercising wings, feet, and beak. Oh happy, satisfied birdie!

The Fiesta is designed to stimulate hours of active play. Bright colors will fascinate and unique wood shapes will captivate as beak and feet get a satisfying workout. At the top, there is a sturdy support beam connected by nickel-plated welded chain to a hefty 3 1/2" square softwood block and then to a 6" x 1 1/4" diameter hardwood dowel. From this sizable stack hangs eight 1/4" cotton rope legs knotted with assorted parrot-approved wood shapes. The majority of shapes are softwood. Some hardwood wheels, spools, and handles are scattered in for good measure. Quality and durability at a reasonable price was our goal with the Fiesta. A great value!!

A world class toy that's just the thing for large Macaws, Cockatoos, and Amazons. Big birds love a challenge and this toy provides plenty. The nickel-plated welded chain and extra thick 2" diameter hardwood dowel provide a sturdy base for 12 (count 'em) knotted 1/4" cotton ropes jam packed with just about every parrot's dream. Most pieces are hardwood -- such as two types of large wheels, drilled handles, and 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" dia. dowels. Some softwood parts are used; for example, the chunky geometric shapes. Four, 4" tightly compressed cardboard tubes and four beefy 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" softwood rectangles make up the "chimes". Delighted customers tell us that this durable toy keeps their big guys occupied for much longer than the average large toy. That's some complement!
