 Need a Sturdy Shishkabob Hanger?
We have three sizes of this 100% stainless steel hanger (even the attached Quick Link is stainless). This hanger would be great for skewering hunks of your bird's favorite fruits and veggies for snack time. It would also make a great toy hanger. Just slip toy parts on the rod and there's a place at the bottom for threading extra rope or leather to hang even more toy parts.
As you may recall, we have carried several types of shishkabob hangers in the past decade or so. Each had enthusiastic supporters, yet none met the needs of all parrot types. We really like this new design. It's well-constructed from bird safe stainless steel (and dishwasher safe, too). At top and bottom the steel is bent into a circle and welded. The center rod screws into the top by 1/2" for the small and medium shishkabob hangers and 5/8' for the large, which makes it extra sturdy. We realize, however, that some birds can unscrew anything so be forewarned.
