Let The Shredding Begin!

Anything balsa gets immediate birdie attention. There's nothing that crunches quite like balsa. Perhaps it's the weight or the texture that attracts -- or something else that only a parrot can understand. For the small version we cut 1" thick balsa into interesting 2" shapes and string them on 3/16" cotton rope. For the medium size we cut 2" thick balsa into 3" shapes and knot them onto 1/4" cotton rope.

	Small is 12" long.
	Medium is 17" long.

The Vine Twister is pictured first -- three hand-woven vine ladders (4") snuggle between bright mini beads resting on hardwood disks. Second is the Wacky Blox. Chunky little ABC blocks seem dressed for a party as they perch playfully among colorful disks and festive streamers of plastic chain. The third pictured toy is the Hoola Hoops. Two vine wreaths (2") and a vine ball (1 1/4") are stacked atop hardwood disks and beads. The wreaths move freely around the beads, keeping tongues, beaks, and feet busy. An anodized aluminum bell sits at the bottom of each toy and all sport a leather strip top knot complete with saucy little pony beads. You know how birdies love their bells!

A brawny 3 1/4" x 6" x 1 1/2" thick softwood block supports five dancin' legs of cotton rope loaded with parrot favorites that are sure to ignite the chewing instinct. We knot each leg in several places to make this toy more durable. An eyeful as well as a beakful!

Like our best selling smaller version, this toy is ALL softwood. Three generous 3 1/2" squares (3/4" thick) are at top, bottom, and middle. The squares are drilled at each corner and stuffed with double-knotted 1/4" cotton ropes, carrying a total of 20 three inch softwood trapezoids. Three additional softwood shapes complete the toy at top and bottom. Sandwiched between the squares are two chunky 3 1/2" rectangles. A nickel-plated welded chain runs down the center to hold this delightful medley together. This is especially for the bird that adores saucy colors and softwood chewables.
