Another perch surface to inspire that ever important foot and toe exercise. This cotton rope perch attaches with chew-resistant screw-in caps and has a flexible core that lets it bend into shapes to fit your cage. Critter the Blue-Crowned Conure, of Beakly Reader fame, keeps hers in the corner of her cage for special times, like when she sunbathes after her bath.

It's a Perch and a Preener!

You get double with this purchase -- both a preener and a perch. It's easy to attach anywhere on the cage -- inside, outside, or from the top. Just insert the threaded slot through a cage bar, then apply the plastic end cap from outside and tighten -- protecting a curious beak from the hardware. The soft, comfortable perch gives birdie feet firm support while the bush at the end is preened. You can even hand wash this cotton/poly blend.

SANDY PERCH

These vet-tested pedicare perches are tough! They have a manzanita core to which brightly colored, smoothly rounded sand is permanently bonded. The natural manzanita wood center provides a variable foot grip surface that keeps birdie feet healthy -- no more flattened toe bottoms from sliding along on a smooth perch. The smooth rounded sand particles act as a gentle emery board that comfortably keeps toe nails at a manageable length. Sandy Perches survive even the roughest play and are known to retain their color after many hard scrubbings.
